New Islamic Museum Seeks to Unite People of Faith

International Islamic Museum of America

Atlanta, Georgia
410 14th Street NW
The International Islamic Museum of America (IIMA) is a Not-for-Profit Organization that strives to unite the world through educational experiences that are personal for each visitor. We believe it is simpler to embrace differences when you better understand them. IIMA is devoted to dispelling misconceptions about Muslims and Islam by turning barriers into bridges that will bring us all together. IIMA is dedicated to educating the public about Islam and Islamic cultures around the world. IIMA is arranging to bring artifacts from Muslim cultures around the world to Atlanta’s doorstep, making them accessible for the public to view and enjoy. IIMA aims to bring Muslims and non-Muslims together using our exhibits and workshops as a catalyst that will appeal to a wide audience. With interreligious and intercultural dialogue front and center, we are hopeful that IIMA will generate an atmosphere conducive to learning and a greater appreciation of the world’s diverse cultural and religious traditions.
