The First Division Museum at Cantigny, located in Wheaton, Illinois, is seeking a collections manager to care for the operating historic vehicle fleet, the museum’s permanent collection, and the macro-artifact collection, which includes the tanks and artillery.

Qualifications

Requirements include:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a museum-related field (master’s strongly preferred).
  • The ability to lift 45 pounds.
  • Two years of related museum experience is very desirable
  • The candidate must acquire a class C driver’s license and a FOID card for the State of Illinois within 60 days of hiring.

Candidates may be asked to pass a drug test and background check. This is a full-time position requiring one evening and some weekend responsibilities.
