Education Director – Historical Museum of Southern Florida, located in Downtown Miami, is dedicated to interpreting the history and contemporary life of South Florida and the Caribbean. 

The Education Director will supervise four full-time and 15 part-time staff members and will be in charge of developing, implementing, marketing and evaluating youth and adult programs/tours, liaison with Miami-Dade County Public School, and foster partnerships with schools, community and cultural organizations. The position will work closely with the exhibitions department in the development of educational programs to support and compliment current exhibits.  

Experience in audience development, grant writing and preparation and management of annual budget is required. A degree in history, anthropology or related field, and/or experience in a history museum.
