The Contemporary Museum, Honolulu, is looking for an energetic, resourceful, and imaginative individual with a thorough knowledge of recent art and artists to conceive of, research, organize, and present temporary exhibitions at the only museum devoted exclusively to contemporary art in the State of Hawai’i.
Qualifications
This individual will have a proven curatorial track record with a minimum of five years progressive responsibility and experience, as well as excellent writing and speaking skills. Interest in and knowledge of the contemporary art and artists of the Pacific Rim is a plus.
Minimum requirements: master’s degree preferred; however, undergraduate degree with relevant experience will be considered; specialization in the art history of the past 50 years; ability to work in a team environment.
