Venice is a beautiful city on the Gulf of Mexico, with a quaint downtown area including many areas of historical homes as well as other historical buildings. The City is searching for a Director of our Historical Resources and Archives, to administer various historical programs and act as official receiving agent of the historical collection. We have a great team of volunteers to supervise, which includes recruitment, scheduling, training, and motivating

Qualifications include a Bachelors degree in history or related field and 2 years relevant experience. Must have knowledge of historical preservation methods and practices, with skill in organizing, researching, and preparing exhibits and reproducing multi-media images.

Salary $30,370-$40,340/annually
