The Mennello of American Art seeks a Development Officer to focus on the increasingly important role of preparing and monitoring annual budget and long-range strategic goals for administration, special projects, endowment development and fund-raising. Duties would encompass an annual campaign and a major gifts campaign. Would advise and assist the Executive Director and the Friends Board President on foundation, government and corporate grants. Manage membership program and annual gala.
Qualifications
The position requires a bachelor's degree (masters degree preferred) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Non-Profit Administration or related field and 2-5 years experience with a proven track record of successful major gifts and corporate sponsorship solicitations. Microsoft office software, financial spreadsheets experience required. Corporate donor solicitation experience desired. Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge.
Salary: One year contract (renewable). Full city benefits.
Salary Range: $40,393 - $50,481 depending on qualifications.
