The Art and Culture Center of Hollywood (ACCH) presents innovative, unique visual and performing arts programs. Its exhibitions, films and performances introduce fresh perspectives to the arts. Education programs for children and adults celebrate creativity and excellence. ACCH, a 501(c)(3) non profit organization, is one of only five major cultural institutions in Broward County.

RESPONSIBLE FOR: All development office functions and activities, including donor and grant research, proposal preparation, grant management, and donor relations.

REPORT TO: Executive Director

LIAISON WITH: All staff, Board of Trustees, volunteers, donors.
Primary Responsibilities
* Research, develop and write proposals to government, corporate, and foundation sources.
* Ongoing grants management; prepare and submit all interim and final grant and funder correspondence.
* Plan and design donor cultivation events.
* Secure new revenue through sponsorships, alliances and promotional opportunities with profit and non profit entities.
* Cultivate new prospects, including public sources, private foundations, individuals, corporate entities.
* Ensure agency remains compliant with grantor mandates, including provision of timely records and reports, oversight of expenditures, media relations.
* Create materials and manage activities of annual campaign, other specific institutional development projects.
* Maintain public persona as institution’s representative.
Qualifications
* Minimum three years’ experience, preferably arts and culture related.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written and the ability to communicate ideas with enthusiasm, diplomacy and sincerity.
* Excellent listening skills and the ability to grasp ideas and concepts.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
* Attention to detail, administrative organization, and thoroughness needed.
* The ability to work independently as well as a part of a team.
* Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Compensation
Range $38,000 to $48,000 with paid health insurance for employee (PPOS plan); complimentary parking; Simple IRA plan; dental insurance available; and more. Relocation expenses will not be reimbursed.
