Manager of Major Gifts and Planned Giving

The Norton Museum of Art is seeking a Manager of Major Gifts and Planned Giving to identify, cultivate, and solicit individual, foundation and corporate major gifts. The successful candidate will develop activities and programs to engage major gift donors and prospects, and to involve them in the life and needs of the institution. He/she will be responsible for soliciting individual gifts, both current and planned, in the six-figure range. The candidate will also create and direct cultivation and stewardship/recognition activities, as appropriate, for individual, foundation and corporate donors, build and maintain relationships with companies and foundations to establish and maintain underwriting for special events and exhibitions and develop the Planned Giving Program, including managing the Planned Giving Committee.
The Manager of Major Gifts and Planned Giving will manage the Grants and Sponsorship Officer, the Corporate Relations Officer and the Donor Relations Coordinator.
BA degree required; 3 – 5 years experience in non-profit fundraising. Microsoft Office, Outlook knowledge required; Raiser’s Edge knowledge preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
