The Norton Museum of Art is seeking a Corporate Relations Officer, responsible for all aspects of this fundraising program including the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of corporate gifts for sponsorship of Special Events and Exhibitions. The Officer also oversees the Corporate Matching Gifts and Business Membership programs. Included in the position are personal solicitation, volunteer management, special events planning and implementation, and all other aspects of program management necessary to ensure the growth of this program. Additional requirements include the ability to perform effectively within the Advancement office and the Museum community.
BA degree required with a minimum of 3 years development experience in corporate of major gift fundraising. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to be flexible and creative with excellent written and oral communication skills. Solicitation experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Raiser’s Edge preferred as well as knowledge of the regional business community and enthusiasm for the mission of the Norton Museum of Art.
