Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in History, Art, Humanities or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with advanced degrees in History (with emphasis in Florida history), Art, Museum Studies or related fields. Previous management experience in a museum or similar setting is desired. Excellent writing, communication skills and computer literacy are necessary. The successful candidate enjoys creating opportunities for community education in the area of local history and art, is flexible and works effectively with a small staff, volunteers and the community. Must possess a valid Florida Drivers License. This position may be Full Time (FT) or Part Time (PT) depending on department needs. The successful candidate will be informed of the FT/PT status prior to a job offer.
