Glave & Holmes Associates, a principle centered, collaboratively led firm of 40+ architects and designers is seeking an experienced Architect for Studio Leader of Cultural Projects. This studio is focused on projects such as museums, visitor centers, interpretive centers, libraries, etc. Experience in this sector is a plus.

• Contextual, historically-referenced design is a core aspect of G&HA. Ability to understand and coordinate designs in this direction is helpful.
• Passion for architecture that is high in quality of design, well documented and focused on relationship building is anticipated.

THE POSITION – this individual would play a guiding or oversight role of all aspects of running a studio – marketing efforts, design, management and mentoring of staff, client management, project management, budgeting for studio expenses and coordination of studio workload. This individual must possess good marketing, technical and business skills.

THE BASICS – must have an active license in the U.S. Must have a minimum 10 years experience in architecture with a minimum of 6 years managing projects, managing people and marketing. Excellent communication skills and working knowledge of CADD and MS office programs, including PowerPoint, are necessary. Working knowledge of Revit, Sketch-up, In-design and Photoshop a plus.
