The Trust for the National Mall is the authorized non-profit partner of the National Park Service dedicated to restoring and improving the National Mall, while providing new educational and volunteer opportunities that connect visitor to the Mall’s rich history. The Trust was formed with the commitment and vision to help restore the National Mall, a public space that evokes the pride and patriotism of the people. We believe the National Mall, “America Front Yard’ should reflect our country’s values and be maintained to the highest standards.
Primary Responsibilities
The Trust seeks a Vice President of Development to enable the Trust to achieve its financial goals and lead all of the Trust’s fundraising efforts, including, staffing, structuring and raising funds for its $500 million campaign. The Vice President will work with the President and board to coordinate fundraising, drive results and further the Trust’s relationships.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have a proven record of leading a campaign and securing outright gifts of $10 million or more. A bachelor’s degree and at least ten years of progressively responsible experience in a start up or expanding fundraising organization are also required.
