Primary Responsibilities
Review solicitations and draft model contracts/subcontracts for actual or potential issues regarding terms and conditions, reporting requirements, and or contract performance; prepare cost proposals and assist Pricing Analyst and Business Develpoment personnel with preparation of proposals; receive,prepare, review and execute agreements with potenital subcontractors or prime contractors; prepare and issue RFP's to potential subcontractors and/or suppliers; negotiate prices and terms and conditions of contracts to miminize potential Company risk/liability and maximize profits; receive, review and execute final contract/subcontract documents from external customers; schedule and chair contract department kick-off meetings, both internally and externally; prepare correspondance to customer's contractual POC regarding ongoing issues, change proposals, etc; prepare, submit, and negotiate change proposals with external clients; close out completed contracts, including coordination with Accounting and other Depts. and customers.
Qualifications
Bachelors's Degree from a four year college or university; Law degree a plus, Minimum of 7 to 10 years experience in the contracting field, knowledge of FAR and other regulatory area's to include construction documentation and contracts, demonstrated pricing experience, familiarity with project lifecycle from pre to post award, Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and resond to RFP's and soliciations (including drawings); contracts, and financial docments; albilty to respond to sensitive inquires, ability to present information effectively to management, Ability to write reports and business correspondence, Must possess strong administrative, time-management and organizational skills, interior construction experience a plus, experience with Coporate requirements for mulit jurisdictions a plus, experience with projects between $10- 15 million, Expereince with preparing and reviewing Non-Disclosure and Consulting Agreements.
