We maintain a research library on local history, and we maintain a collection of documents and ephemera from the Victorian era to the present. Our museum docent gives tours of an 1835 One Room School House to local schools.

Eden Valley has also developed several murder mystery programs done in a similar style to the living history programs. These stories, done as dinner theatre programs or weekend events, allow the audience to become detectives and help solve the crime.

Since the beginning in 1978 to the present, the El Campo Museum has become a major tourist attraction for those who travel to our area. Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park showcases some of Florida's loveliest landscape surrounding the headwaters of the Homosassa River. The 210-acre park is home to native Florida wildlife including the endangered West Indian Manatees, Red Wolves, Florida Panther, Key deer, Whooping Cranes and much more. The park is one of only a few places where you can see a West Indian manatee up close 365 daysa year.
