Idaho's only public art museum represents the community's commitment to the visual arts featuring more than 20 exhibitions annually, encompassing historical and contemporary themes. The newly expanded museum store offers shopping unique to Boise. The museum also sponsors several popular community events each year including Art in the Park, Museum After Hours, and with the Beaux Arts Société, the Arts for Christmas Sale and Wine Festival.

The 'Invisble Idahoan: 200 Years of Blacks in Idaho' is the current exhibit sharing the contribution of African Americans to Idahos history.
