The Alachua County Trust: Matheson Museum, Inc. is a non-profit museum and archives dedicated to preserving and interpreting the history and culture of Alachua County. Open 9:30am-1:30pm Tuesday-Friday and Sundays 1-5pm.

Mission Statement

The Alachua County Historic Trust: Matheson Museum, Inc. preserves and interprets the history of Alachua County, and endeavors to make local history more meaningful to residents and visitors, through exhibitions, public programs, publications, and maintaining collections of books, documents, and material culture that relate to the area's past.
