Will be opening on Feb 12 with an Underground Railroad exhibit, followed by 4 Civil War exhibits taking Will County through the entire four years of the Civil War
Started in 1968 with the purchase of the Illinois and Michigan Canal headquarters, has documents from the I & M Canal and has Will County Court Record books
I & M Canal collection: Will County Court record collection, bank documents from the German Loan & Savings Bank, 70,000 documents pertaining to all Will County citizens.
Currently provide guided tours of the part of the Museum and live interpretation in the Settlement. Developing programs for Scouts and Schools and offer children's craft projects in summer. New weaving and blacksmithing workshops in summer.
