Description

The Great Lakes Naval Museum is a government-owned and operated museum dedicated to telling the story "boot camp" training in the United States Navy, and in particular, the Naval Training Station/Center Great Lakes, Illinois. A special section of the museum is dedicated to the expanding role of women in the United States Navy.

Artifacts Collections

The museum's collection consists of items revovlving around Naval history, boot camp history, and base history.
