Description

We bring together people interested in history, especially the history of the Tecumseh area. We endevour to discover and collect any material which may help to establish or illustrate the history of the area. We preserve these materials and provide access to all who wish to examine or study it. We disseminate historical information and arouse interest in the past by publishing historical material in newspapers or otherwise and by holding meetings with pagents, addresses, lectures, papers and discussions.

History

Founded in 1974 the Tecumseh Area Historical Society purchased the Old Stone Church in 1982 and renovated it to provide exhibition space for its collection.

Artifacts relating to the history of the Tecumseh Area.

Research Collections

Yearbooks, newspapers, magazines, scrapbooks, and other printed material relating to the Tecumseh Area.
