Chick Russell Communications is a story-driven creative development company, not a design-driven company. It’s one of our main distinguishing features. It doesn't matter how great it looks if it doesn't create the desired effect. more...

Description

View authentic 19th century farm life and peek inside a lime kiln to discover how limestone was converted to a commercial and agriculture chemical. Listed on the National Regiser of Historic Places and designated a State Historic Site and a Milwaukee County Landmark, Trimborn Farm is unique - a Civil War farmstead in the midst of a major metropolitan area.
The only Milwaukee County Park devoted to a historic theme, Trimborn Farm boasts nine period buildings including one of the largest stone barns still standing in Wisconsin, a granary constructed using the German method of "nogging," and four kilns used for over 50 years.
Trimborn Farm is open to school groups by appointment.
