Housed in a quaint 1810 plank house - one of very few in NH. 5 rooms of antique toys including kitchen, schoolroom, doll room,2 large display rooms, gift shop.

Dedicated to the preservation of the well-loved toys of childhood

History

Museum is the life-long collection of Pauline E. Glidden. She opened the museum in 1991 and gifted both building & collection to the Ashland Historical Society. She was active in its operation until her death in 2002. She was 98.

Antique toys - rare penny toys, litho tin toys, iron toys, wooden toys, wind-ups, games, books, dolls,doll houses, kitchen & laundry equipment, dishes, child & doll furniture, etc.
