The Campbell County Historical and Genealogical society is a non-profit organization formed in 1990 and dedicated to preserve, protect and promote history and genealogy in Campbell County, Kentucky. We generally meet once a month with local members receiving a phone call about the topic and location before that month's meeting. Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month and include a featured speaker on a topic of local interest. Visitors are always welcome!
We also maintain a research office on the second floor of the recently vacated historic Alexandria Courthouse. A few of our ongoing projects are: genealogy, cemetery research, Campbell County log cabin research, collection of information on Campbell County Veterans and the writing and reprinting of local history books.

All members receive our award winning quarterly Newsletter "Campbell County History News" which contains information on local history and genealogy which may not be found anywhere else.
