The Curtin House was built in 1846, the first stone house in the old Town of Greenfield. David Curtin, an Irish immigrant, built the house with the help of an Irish stone mason using stone from the quary north of Grange Ave.

The Lowell Damon House, completed in 1847, is Wauwatosa, Wisconsin's oldest home and a classic example of colonial architecture. The rear five rooms were built in 1844 for Oliver Damon, who migrated to the Wisconsin Territoy from New Hampshire. In 1846, Oliver's son Lowell constructed the handsome front of the home. Guided tours for groups are available by appointment.
