Fleming Castle, now known as Samuel Fleming House

Historic House

The Fleming Castle is the oldest house in Flemington built c. 1756. It is located on property owned at one time by Samuel Fleming, a tavern owner for whom the town is named. For many years it served as the headquarters for the local chapter of the DAR. In 2005 it was purchased by the Borough of Flemington and is open as a museum.
