Richmond National Battlefield Park

During the Civil War Union armies set out to capture Richmond and repeatedly came within a few miles of the city. The park commemorates eleven sites associated with those campaigns, including Gaines' Mill, Malvern Hill, Cold Harbor, Fort Harrison, and Drewrey's Bluff.

The American Historical Foundation

The U.S. Marine Raider Museum, The Military Knife and Bayonet Museum, and the Monument Avenue Museum are all housed in the architecturally significant 1817 Federal Mansion, "Columbia," listed on the National Register.
