HHM presents changing exhibits focusing on the history of Hoboken New Jersey. Recent exhibits include: 50th anniversary exhibit on the film "On the Waterfront: Starring Hoboken New Jersey"; "Hoboken Tunes: Our Musical Heritage"; "100 Hoboken Firsts"; "Heaven, Hell, or Hoboken: A World Transformed by World War I"; "Up and Down the River: A History of the Hudson, 1609 - 2009". In addition the Museum exhibits art work by local artists in it's Upper Gallery. We also have an extensive education program for school children. In addition to our exhibits HHM features many events including house tours, garden tours, baby parades, pet parades, tomato-tasting festivals, film festivals, storytime, and lectures. The Museum has a gift shop that features t-shirts, postcards, maps, posters, and books.

The Montclair Art Museum, which first opened its doors in 1914, is the only art museum in New Jersey specializing in the collection and exhibition of American art. The Museum's founders, principally William T. Evans and Florence Rand Lang, donated works from their collections of American paintings and Native American art, respectively, to form the basis of a collection that now includes Hudson River School paintings, 19th-century portraits, American Impressionism, Modernism, and 20th-century works in a variety of media, including significant collections of sculpture, photography, and works on paper. Every major culture group in the country is represented in the Museum's renowned collection of Native American art.

The museum presents its programs in partnership with city and gallery spaces. Currently operating as a museum "without walls" the museum's private art collection is composed of Regional historical and local artwork that includes the Bergen Museum's Stefan Knapp Mural (once displayed on the Alexander's building in Paramus and also known as the Alexander's Mural), paintings, photographs, and two Mastodon skeletons.

Parlor Gallery shows emerging to mid level career artists. In November, we have a two woman show featuring Angie Mason and Kristen Ferrell. The ladies will transform the gallery into a magical bakery full of paintings, sculptures, clothing, and other goodies. December will be a group show for the holidays featuring our friends and artists we have worked with all year. We are away in January and come back to 2010 with our "Girls, Girls, Girls" show.

We are a non-profit organization that promotes and fosters the arts in Sussex County, New Jersey. Our biggest mission is to supply state granted funds to music, performing arts and public assistant groups. Most of the programs these groups are based around art and music. We hold many fundraisers and events a year to support ourselves and our regrant groups. One of our great honors is having our own galley space for members who are local artists.
