Historical Museum

Our museum offers guests the opportunity to explore artifacts, old photographs, and a circa 1950's caboose to view life as it was in the early days of the Kishwaukee Valley.

The purpose of the Kishwaukee Valley Heritage Society shall be charitable and educational in order to bring together those people interested in history, especially in the history of our communities-Genoa, Kingston, and Mayfield Townships. Understanding the history of our communities is basic to our democratic way of life, gives us a better understanding of our communities, and helps us better appreciate our American heritage.
