The adults in a child's life are his/her first and most important teachers and playmates. Parents and caregivers have the uniquely important role of introducing children to all of the magical discoveries our world has to offer. Please use your visit as an opportunity to engage and interact with the children, talk to them about what they are experiencing and teach them how to act as responsible young citizens

AHA! is designed for children of all ages. Adults bringing older children into the museum are asked to please monitor their behavior. Older children need your attention just like the little ones, guaranteeing guests of all ages have an equally wonderful adventure at AHA!

Best experience for children 10 and under.

The sole mission of AHA! is to surround children and the adults in their lives with a hands-on, interactive, playful and educational environment that invites curiosity, allows exploration, encourages participation and celebrates the child-like wonder in us all.

Educational Programs

AHA! Advantage Preschool is an enrichment program for children who are not eligible or who cannot afford a traditional preschool. The AHA! Advantage Preschool may also be used as an introductory opportunity for children until a full time educational option becomes available.

The Museum sells water only. You are welcome to use designated eating areas or leave the facility for lunch. We do offer same day reentry.

Monthly Newsletter, Annual Report

AHA! t-shirts and alphabet prints by local artist, Joseph A. Greene, are available for purchase.

Perfect for parties or groups.

BASIC: $100; Includes party zone for two hours, 10 children (the guest of honor is included in the 10 children), up to 14 adults, and a tee shirt for the guest of honor. Additional children and adults $6 each. AND IT GETS BETTER - JUST CALL!!

Two hour Group Visits are scheduled to occur on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during regular operating hours. There are two blocks of time to choose from 10:30- 12:30 or 1:30- 3:30. The ratio of children to adults should be 3:1 so that enough hands are present in order to make sure both our group guests and our public visitors have equally pleasurable visits. There is no minimum number of children required for a group visit but groups of more than 50 children must have special permission granted by the director.

We are a design and fabrication shop that encourages play in museums, organizations and brands so they may spread the roots of their mission. Play is a powerful tool because it tests assumptions, makes connections and establishes a positive emotional memory to concepts. Incorporating play (interactives) in your project can actually boost diversity, loyalty and engagement which will ultimately strengthen your mission.
