USFCAM organizes exhibitions, produces relevant catalogues, schedules critically significant traveling exhibitions and underwrites new projects by artists emerging on the national and the international fronts.
It is the mission of the University of South Florida Contemporary Art Museum to foster a creative environment for the education of students, faculty, and staff of the University, the Tampa Bay community and beyond, by promoting the enjoyment and appreciation of contemporary art. The USF CAM presents an international program of temporary exhibitions enhanced by lectures, symposia, workshops and publications. The USF CAM is dedicated to the preservation, conservation, expansion, interpretation, and display of the University's art collection which is distinguished for its focus on contemporary works on paper and sculpture multiples. The USF CAM coordinates the public art program for the USF campuses.
