If you are looking for historical information on the city of McCleary or nearby communities, the McCleary Museum is the place to start your search.
McCleary, located at the very eastern edge of Grays Harbor County, Washington, is the gateway to the ocean beaches. A quaint, friendly little town, McCleary offers all kinds of goods and services for people who live in the area or people who are passing through to the beach, the Olympic Rainforest, or to the larger cities of Olympia, Tacoma and Seattle.
Note: We have changed our location:
The mcCleary Museum at Carnell House closed September 1, 2019. The Society has obtained a 1926 church building at 426 S 3rd Street McCleary. The museum will reopen there along with an event center & visitor's center in the spring of 2020.
