A visit to Norskedalen immerses you in the natural beauty of the coulee region of SW Wisconsin as well as in the immigrant history of the late 1800's. Norskedalen includes guided tours of the fully restored and furnished pioneer log farmstead, beautiful hiking trails, many special events and educational programming. Our vision is to continue expanding the ways we preserve and share the natural environment and cultural heritage of this very special coulee region.
Over 5,000 items from the pioneer settlers (particularly Norwegian)of the area including house, farm, blacksmith, fabrics, furniture and the log buildings.
We have regular guided tours of the pioneer homestead. We provide a wide variety of educational programs for area students from age 4-12.
