The Colchester Historical Society operates a local history museum in town.

The Colchester Historical Society was founded in 1963. The objective of the Society is to educate and enlighten our citizens to the historical background of Colchester and to protect and conserve our architecture and history.

Visit The Bulkeley Room at The Colchester Historical Society Museum to get the whole story on the Colchester Burying Ground. For additional information call 537-3588 or 537-2151. Museum Hours: Saturday & Sunday 1 :00 pm to 4:00 pm and by appointment.
