McCune Design is an Academy Award winning design, fabrication and effects business serving the display, entertainment and advertising industries for over 30 years. Seen in museums, theme parks, hotels, and nature centers our exhibit work includes interactives, scenery and sets, specialty props, animatronics, robotics, working prototypes, practical effects, habitats, enclosures, scenics, dioramas, murals, display cases and precision replicas of all kinds.

We create realistic, detailed miniatures and models, as well as full size/oversize props, set pieces and environments. Our eclectic work often includes complex electro-mechanical engineering, processor driven motor control systems, sculpture, complex castings, real and faux finishes. Our 30 years in motion picture effects include iconic historical films such as Star Wars, Star Trek, Caddyshack, and Spaceballs, and modern action blockbusters such as X-Men, Iron Man and Spiderman.
