Brucemore

The Carl & Mary Koehler History Center is the historical heart of Linn County, Iowa. Permanent exhibits on the growth and development of the county, as well as temporary exhibits that focus on the historical significance of items in the museum's collection, bring history alive for visitors of all ages.

The 63,000 square foot museum displays temporary exhibitions of contemporary art and hold the world's largest collection of works by Grant Wood and Marvin Cone, works by Mauncio Lasansky and the Riley Collection of ancient Roman portrait busts.

An art gallery established to exhibit temporary exhibitions; mainly regional artists of all media and styles and Coe students. Tours and lecture available.
