Ten thousand years ago, long before Crazy Horse, Sitting Bull, Red Cloud and Little Big Man, people of the Alberta Culture hunted the lands of northwest Nebraska. Armed with stone tools, a band of Alberta Culture paleo indains stalked, then slaughtered 600 bison and insured their winter's survival.
