Housed in the former 100 year old 1910 Merchants Bank building, the Halifax Historical Museum exhibits depict local history beginning in 5,000 BC with the Timucuan Indians, the Seminole Native Americans and includes the Civil War, Victorian Era and up to the present day. There is a Racing Zone that covers beach/road racing in Daytona Beach, Ormand Beach and Daytona Beach Shores.
