The Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave occupies a 65 acre site on top of Lookout Mountain. It includes the grave site of Buffalo Bill as well as museum and large gift shop. The museum includes exhibits about Buffalo Bill's life and times. Exhibits feature artifacts used by Buffalo Bill and Wild West show performers, Indian artifacts, and firearms.

Dinosaur Ridge is an outdoor museum along a trail along Alameda Parkway that goes up and over a spectacular mountain of a type called a hogback. Locally the mountain is named Dinosaur Ridge because of abundant dinosaur fossils along the trail.
