The Mifflinburg Buggy Museum preserves the only intact 19th century carriage factory open to the public in the United States. Its complex includes a modern Visitor Center, the buggy maker's family home, a carriage house, a showroom and the original factory. The Museum offers guided tours of the historic buildings, while the Visitor Center is self-guided.

The Slifer House opened to the public as a Museum in 1976. Since that time the house has been furnished with appropriate decorative arts from the Victorian Era. Many family artifacts have been returned to the house from descendants and friends of the Slifer and Ross families.
