The Prairie Homestead was homsteaded By Ed Brown in 1909. The family lived here adding farmstead buildongs and fences until 1935. After this it was ocupied and maintained by a bachlor, George Car until 1949. It includes a sod dugout home and out buildings as if the people were living ther today. we also have a history room with manybooks on the period and a fine gift shop.
