The William Henry Harrison Mansion was built when he served as the first governor of the Indiana Territory (1800-1812). Called the “White House of the West,” Grouseland was the first brick home in the Indiana Territory. In the frontier village of Vincennes it seemed a palatial mansion. It was built on a knoll overlooking the Wabash River near a walnut grove.

The museum tells the "Star is Born" story. Someone from a small town can make it in Hollywood. Hoosiers have been a part of Hollywood history from the very beginning to today. Some are stars but most of them are mentors. A friendly face you see in many films and TV shows. Hope to promote current Hoosiers in Hollywood and to keep the memory of past Hoosiers.
