Most everything manmade has something to do with mining. At the Sterling Hill Mine Tour & Museum we'll show you just how it's done. From drilling and blasting to the processing of the ore. Right here in NJ is one of the worlds richest zinc ore deposits, the area boasts over 350 minerals, about 70 of which fluoresce. That's about 10% of the known minerals in the world right here in NJ. Craftsman Farms, located in and owned by the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills, is the former home of noted turn-of-the-century designer Gustav Stickley, a major proponent of the "Arts and Crafts" home building and furnishing. The log house, built in 1911, is one of the most significant landmarks of the American Arts and Crafts movement, and the site, which consists of 26 acres of the original 650-acre tract, has been designated a National Historic Landmark.

Art
We are a non-profit organization that promotes and fosters the arts in Sussex County, New Jersey. Our biggest mission is to supply state granted funds to music, performing arts and public assistant groups. Most of the programs these groups are based around art and music. We hold many fundraisers and events a year to support ourselves and our regrant groups. One of our great honors is having our own galley space for members who are local artists.
