The Adirondack Museum has been collecting for more than fifty years and will continue to collect into the future. The collections are as varied and diverse as the Adirondacks themselves. Each artifact represents a small piece of the Adirondack story.
Fine and Regional Art:
Three collections – fine art, decorative art, and photography – combine to create the largest repository of Adirondack art in the North Country.
Daily Life and Work:
Featuring artifacts related to domestic work and homemaking; work, commerce, trades, and professions.
Historic Structures:
Over a dozen historic structures from throughout the Adirondack North Country have been relocated to the museum grounds.
