For the past twenty years Vermont CCC Alumni have been donating artifacts and remembrances of their time in the "C's." There hope all along has been that this collection will be displayed in a museum where it can tell the story of the CCC to future generations - so that they can learn from it, and maybe be inspired by it.

The permanent exhibit at the Vermont History Museum is entitled, Freedom and Unity: One Ideal, Many Stories. Visitors walk through time and experience a full-sized Abenaki wigwam, a re-creation of the Catamount Tavern where the Green Mountain Boys gathered, a railroad station complete with working telegraph and a WWII living room furnished with period music and periodicals.
