The Chazen Museum of Art is a cultural facility of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. It was founded for purposes in keeping with the university's mission of education, research, and public service. It provides support and enrichment of the university's educational programs; it houses the art collection of the university and sponsors exhibitions of art; it is a facility for the Department of Art History; it houses the university's art reference library. Most activities are free to all, and visitor use of the Chazen Museum of Art is encouraged equally among the general public and the university community.

Circus World Museum

Circus World Museum collects, preserves and interprets archival material and artifacts relating to the history of the American circus. In addition to the circus museum, it maintains and operates a circus library and research center. Through its exhibits and educational outreach programs, Circus World Museum strives to encourage an appreciation of the historic role of the circus in American life, including the presentation of live circus performances during the summer season. The summer season includes a full range of family entertainment including stage shows, circus music demonstrations, train loading demonstrations, clown acts, animal and carousel rides, and educational animal training demonstrations. During the fall and winter seasons, exhibit facilities are open for self-guided tours.

The Cedarburg Cultural Center simultaneously serves as an art gallery, museum, theater, rental facility, and art education venue for adults and youth. The galleries, classrooms and restrooms of the Center are wheelchair accessible. Also under the care and management of the Center are the historic Kuhefuss House Museum located at W63 N627 Washington Ave and the General Store Museum located at W61 N480 Washington Ave.

Charles Allis Art Museum

Designed by prominent Milwaukee architect Alexander Eschweiler for Charles Allis, the first president of Allis Chalmers, and his wife Sarah in 1911, this unique Tudor-style mansion and art collection was built with the sole purpose of bequeathing it to the public to delight, educate and inspire. The permanent collection features 19th Century French and American Paintings, Chinese and Japanese porcelains, Renaissance bronzes, Japanese netsuke, and original antique furnishings.
