The Bob Rauschenberg Gallery is located on the Lee campus of Edison State College, Fort Myers, FL. Named after the legendary Robert Rauschenberg the gallery played host to 14 individual exhibitions of Mr. Rauschenberg's work. The gallery hosts 7 exhibitions annually, 4 academic shows, one student show and during the summer 2 community related exhibits.

Walk among live oaks and lush gardens, relax in a rocking chair on the verandah as you watch the river roll gently by....but, first, join Mona and Jettie Burroughs as they share the history and colorful tales of living in one of Fort Myers' oldest homes - The Burroughs Home. Built in 1901, this Georgian Revival Mansion was the scene of many social events that hosted the Fort Myers' elite including the Edisons, Fords, and Firestones.

Strolling through our Museum, visitors can learn about Southwest Florida's natural history. Daily educational programs allow visitors an up close and personal view of some of our resident creatures, including a skunk, bobcat, raccoon, white tail deer, Butterfly Aviary and Native Plant Nursery and an Audubon Aviary which houses permanently injured birds of prey (hawks, vultures, bald eagles, owls and more!).

The Edison & Ford Winter Estates is a National Register Historic Site as well as a Florida Historic Landmark. The Site includes 13 historic buildings and 20 acres of tropical gardens as well as a 1927 botanic research lab and a 15,000 square foot museum. The site is open daily from 9-5 and evenings for special events and rentals. The education program is well developed and reaches all ages and interests in history, the arts, culture and science.

A restored 1924 Atlantic Coastline Railroad depot, the museum is home to the history of Southwest Florida from Paleo man and animals through the 20th Century. Special attractions are a pioneer “cracker” house, 1926 La France fire pumper and 1929 private Pullman rail car.
