The Fire Museum of Maryland is the third largest museum of its kind in the world and offers exhibits on the history of fire fighting, hand- and horse-drawn apparatus, the Great Baltimore Fire of 1904, as well as the reconstruction of Baltimore City's Engine House #8, the only cast-iron fire house in the area.
Throughout the building are videos and DVD's on a variety of fire related themes, as well as interactive programs for children.
