Voted a Phoenix Point of Pride and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Center has the largest concentration of Native American petroglyphs in the Phoenix Valley. Visitors hike a handicap accessible quarter-mile trail to view over 1,500 carved symbols on rock made between 500 and 7,000 years ago.

Visitor comment: The museum is difficult to find, but it's worth the effort! There are almost no signs to guude you there; we got a map from the office at the Indian Oasis Intermediate School on Highway 86. On the west end of Sells, turn south, pass the hospital, turn right on the road to Topawa (Indian Highway 19), go almost 10 miles, then left on Fresnal Canyon Road.
