The mission of the Nabb Research Center is to cultivate and sustain the advancement of scholarly research through collecting, preserving, disseminating and providing access to records and artifacts which illustrate the rich historical and cultural heritage of the greater Delmarva region.

Built in 1858 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Evergreen House is a magnificent 48-room Italianate mansion on 26 wooded acres in Baltimore. Formerly the home of two generations of Baltimore's prominent Garrett family, Evergreen House and its collection of over 50,000 objects were bequeathed to the Johns Hopkins University in 1942 with the stipulation that the estate remain open to "lovers of music, art, and beautiful things.

Located on the campus of the Johns Hopkins University, Homewood is one of the nation's best surviving exampls of Federal period architecture, a National Historic Landmark, and the source for the campus's archiectural vocabulary and name. Restored and opened to the museum in 1987, Homewood provides a year-round calendar of tours, exhibitions, concerts, and educational programs.

The Leroy Merritt Center for the Art of Joseph Sheppard honors Sheppard’s extraordinary work, underscores his lifelong devotion to creating and promoting classical art, and celebrates the legacy of Maryland philanthropist and businessman Leroy Merritt. Designed by well-known Baltimore architect Jim Grieves, this extraordinary cultural arts center serves as an enduring tribute to the accomplished painter and sculptor.

The Historical Collections document changes in medical technology since the early 19th century. Included in this growing assemblage of more than 12,000 objects are X-ray equipment, microscopes, surgical instruments, numismatics and anatomical models.
