The Marietta Museum of History seeks to explore, interpret and educate its visitors on the history of Marietta and Cobb County. There are currently three galleries and the beginnings of a fourth gallery to incorporate our large military collection. We strive to provide thoughtful permanent and temporary exhibits that explore the history of the area.

The Morris Museum of Art, located on the Riverwalk in downtown Augusta, Georgia, is the first museum dedicated to the art and artists of the American South. The collection includes holdings of nearly 5,000 paintings, works on paper, photographs, and sculptures dating from the late-eighteenth century to the present. In addition to the permanent collection galleries, the museum hosts eight to ten temporary special exhibitions every year.

The collections of the Michael C. Carlos Museum of Emory University span the globe and the centuries. The Museum is also home to collections of nineteenth- and twentieth-century sub-Saharan African art and European and American works on paper from the Renaissance to the present day.
