Goal of the Camp Grant Museum is to educate the young and to keep the history of men and women who lived, worked and defended our country during the Camp's existence for future generations to remember.
Friends of Camp Grant meet every other month staring in January, third Thursday. Our purpose is to enjoy the comraderie of sharing our interest and knowledge with a whole group of people who wish to preserve the memory of Camp Grant.

Three Museums in 100-year-old buildings in the National Registry of Historic Places - The three represent Local, Military, and Railroading History on the Historic National Road in Greenup, IL. The local genealogy library resides in the Historic Johnson Building where artifacts of local history are displayed. The Greenup Depot houses model railroads and historical artifacts and photos.

The Edgar County Genealogy Library (ECGL) is home to an extensive collection of materials about genealogy and history of Edgar County, Illinois. Located in the Edgar County Historical Complex annex, it is an offspring of both the Edgar County Historical and Genealogical Societies. The Library is staffed by Genealogical Society volunteers to assist with your research. A. Joyce Brown and Linda Cary are co-directors.

The First Division Museum presents the history of the famed 1st Infantry Division of the U.S. Army, "The Big Red One," within the broader context of modern American military history using contemporary, interactive exhibits. The main exhibit hall covers the division's history beginning in World War I up through its fight in the Gulf War.

The Greater St. Louis Air & Space Museum, a place where even the building is historic, and where the single visitor is given a personal tour by a knowledgeable volunteer. This museum deserves a visit by anyone claiming to be an aviation enthusiast, much less an historian. The airport, originally opened in 1929 as the Curtiss-Steinberg Airport, was founded in part by the Curtiss-Wright Company.
